The word “curandera” may have many connotations depending upon your particular background or past experiences.  It simply means “Spanish folk healer”.

The emphasis in my curandera practices is on healing and creating a balance.  I focus on the traditional, herbal remedies, prayer and call on the saints for assistance.  I do know how to break "spells", and I do offer readings when asked.  But I do not put spells, curses, hexes or voodoo anyone...period! 

The most common requests are for limpias, removal of sustos, and mal de ojo. 

A Limpia is a spiritual cleansing done with eggs -raw and in the shell, with limes, or even an herbal brushing, sometimes simply the use of sacred smoke is used.

A request to remove Sustos is when you have experienced a fright or a traumatic event in your life, by doing this work I can provide you a  gentle safe way of Soul Retrieval.  Many of my clients who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder PTSD, seek "sustos" treatments, I work with them using this work as well as several other modalities that gently overlay and compliment this work and the results are impressive.

Mal de Ojo, evil eye, is also a believed curse that some of my clients wish to be cleansed of and they often feel it has been brought or put on them by envy.

Do to the nature of work our Police Officers, Fire Fighters, EMT workers and any of our Military do, I am happy to offer sliding scale fees for them.
